529 Shield (529 Garage Bicycle Registration Kit - US Edition)

Registering your bike in the 529 Garage is free and takes about five minutes. The shield is what makes it obvious to everyone else.

Every shield carries a unique seven character ID that ties your bike to your registration, to help police, bike shops and unknowing buyers trace it back to you.

Most of the time it never gets that far. A thief reading a shield knows the bike is registered, and knows a whole community gets notified the moment it goes missing. That is the 529 protection on your bike.

Shields are tamper resistant and weather resistant. Once applied it is very difficult to remove, and hard to remove without leaving obvious signs that someone tried. Each shield measures 1.85 in. tall and 1 in. across the top, small enough for a down tube and readable from across a bike rack.

Fits a bike, trike, scooter or e-bike; clean the spot on the frame, press it down, then add the code to your bike in the free 529 Garage app or at 529garage.com.

We ship USPS, usually within 24 hours of your order. Delivery runs 4 to 15 days.
